Prof. Dr. Aziz Akgül, Chief Executive Officer ( CEO )

Prof. Dr. Aziz Akgül is a visionary leader with over 35 years of professional experience in the design, implementation, and management of innovative economic development and environmental programs. He is a thought leader and a catalyst for change, introducing concepts such as Microcredit, Hepitalism, Seigniorage Reform, Social Entrepreneurship, and Food Banking to Turkey. One of the examples of his results-oriented leadership is the establishment and implementation of the Turkey Grameen Microfinance Program. Prof. Dr. Aziz Akgül also served as a Member of Parliament in the 22nd Term and worked as the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey.

In his efforts to globalize Hepitalism practices and bring new momentum to the global microfinance system and social entrepreneurship aimed at alleviating poverty, he has been a pioneer in the creation of "MicroCreditToken ($1MCT)," a blockchain-based project.

Halil Fatih Akgül, Executive Board Member

Halil Fatih Akgül completed his associate degree in International Business at Monroe Community College in the USA, followed by a successful bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing at London Metropolitan University in the UK. After working in various fields including insurance, hotel accommodation, information technology, road transportation, construction, and real estate, he assumed the position of Secretary-General at TGMP in 2018. Currently, he continues to serve as the COO of MicroCreditToken, the world's first blockchain-based microfinance platform.

Ahmet Berkay Sünbül, MCT and Blockchain Team Leader

Ahmet Berkay Sünbül received education in the following fields sequentially: Management Information Systems at Ahmet Yesevi University, Graphic Design at Abant İzzet Baysal University, and Web Design and Coding at Anadolu University. After gaining 5 years of work experience in various corporate companies, he started working as a Senior IT Specialist at TGMP in 2021. Ahmet Berkay Sünbül provides private consultancy on blockchain to various companies and individuals. He currently serves as the Team Leader for the MicroCreditToken Blockchain team.

Halil Orhan, Microfinance Director

After completing his bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Union at İzmir Ekonomi University, Halil Orhan earned his master's degree in International Relations at Dokuz Eylül University. With over 10 years of experience in microfinance and business development, he possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in strategic planning and executive leadership. Currently, Halil Orhan serves as the General Manager at the Turkey Grameen Microfinance Program (TGMP) and as the Microfinance Manager at MicroCreditToken.

Aslıhan Köksal, Community and Marketing Manager

Aslıhan Köksal graduated from Hacettepe University with a degree in American Culture and Literature. She also completed her studies in International Relations at the same university. After working in various departments where she managed marketing, project management, and translation projects, she joined TGMP as a Strategy and Business Development Specialist. Currently, she works as the Community Manager at MicroCreditToken.

Kadir Tayfun Göçer, Legal Advisor

Kadir Tayfun Göçer is a graduate of Galatasaray University Faculty of Law. As the founding partner of AG Law & Consulting based in Istanbul, he primarily focuses on corporate law, commercial law, and the financial transactions of national and multinational clients, along with blockchain technology. Kadir Tayfun Göçer firmly believes that blockchain technology offers a significant opportunity to fundamentally transform the operation of financial markets. He closely follows international trends in blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations and endeavors to adapt them to domestic law. He serves as the Legal Advisor at MicroCreditToken.
